Live-out Private Chef in Gstaad

We are looking for a professional Chef to work for our private clients based in Gstaad, Switzerland.

The position is permanent, live-out & full-time Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a discreet, experienced, hardworking, multitasking, self-starter with a driven personality who is an expert in their field for a private couple based in Gstaad (canton Bern). You should have worked in the HNW/UHNW private household sector and be looking for the next step in your career.

While this is not a 24/7 position, ad hoc flexibility beyond normal working hours is part of the role and will be expected. You must be fluent in English, with Swiss German and/or Italian preferred.

You should currently be based in Gstaad or live within a comfortable commuting distance. We are open to candidates who would like to relocate to Gstaad or nearby but can't offer any housing at the moment. Being a non-smoker and having a clean background are essential. An international background check will be performed and is part of our hiring process.

Duties:
• Meal preparation (breakfast/dinner)
• Create seasonal, high-quality, no Michelin-style meals daily
• Offer a balance of nutritious and flavorful meals
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of family members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchens (two chalets, total of two kitchens)
• Ensure proper food storage and rotation (system for expiration dates)
• Grocery shopping and inventory management
• Manage very good relationships with food vendors and suppliers
• Herb Garden: plan and maintain small herb garden, harvest, water, etc
• Ensure proper storage of leftovers and management of food waste
• CH driver license (automatic & manual transmission)

Salary negotiable from CHF 5000
Start date: ASAP

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
